Amish Paste Heirloom Tomato Seeds

Amish Paste is an heirloom tomato which yields 8-12 oz deep red, heart shaped fruit.  Its delicious, sweet flavor is great for sauces. Ready for harvest in 85 days

Planting instructions:Start Amish Paste heirloom tomato seeds indoors 5-6 weeks before last spring frost in a sunny, warm location in pots or flats. Transplant tomato plant to a sunny, well drained location in the late spring ground is warm and all danger of frost has passed. The transplanted plants should be about 5-12 inches tall. Your heirloom tomatoes can then be sown directly into the garden when the weather is warm. For better results cage or stake plants, which will allow larger plants with better yeilds.

Care:Water lightly to keep soil moist. Control weeds with cultivation or mulch.

Harvesting: Pick tomatoes when fruits turn red. In late fall before any frost, green tomatoes can be picked and ripened in a warm area.

Nutritional Value: Amish Paste tomatoes are an excellent source of Vitamins: A, & C and contains B, calcium. Iron, and potassium.

Collecting Seed: Select a red, very mature Amish Paste tomato and remove seeds. Allow seeds to dry on a cloth or paper towel.
