The Great White heirloom tomatoes are robust plants that create large fruits usually over 14 ounces each.  These fruits have a creamy white color when mature, and when eaten have more of a mild, sweet flavor.  The Great White heirloom tomato has very few seeds that making it great for slicing, but slightly more difficult for harvesting seeds for re-planting.  The unique flavor is a great changeup for all your usual tomato supplemented foods.

Planting instructions: Start Great White tomato heirloom seeds indoors 5-8 weeks before last spring frost in a sunny, warm location in pots or flats. Transplant tomato plant to a sunny, well drained location in the late spring when the cultivated and enriched with organic material ground is warm and all danger of frost has passed. The transplanted plants should be about 5-12 inches tall. Tomatoes can be sown directly into the garden when the soil and weather is warm. Stake tomatoes upright or use a wire cage to increase production.

Care: Water lightly to keep soil moist. Control weeds with cultivation or mulch.

Harvesting: Pick tomatoes when fruits are large and mature.

Nutritional Value: Great White tomatoes are an excellent source of Vitamins: A, & C and contains B, calcium. Iron, and potassium.

Collecting Seed: Select a cream-white, very mature Great White tomato and remove seeds. Allow seeds to dry thoroughly on a paper towel or cloth.
