Many factors can affect the germination and growth of your garden or flower seeds. Try some of these suggestions to improve your seeds' chance of success:

• Soak garden seeds in water for 4-6 hours before planting seeds in ground.
• Store seeds in cool dry location to prevent seeds germinating prematurely.
• Water freshly planted seeds or newly transplanted plants heavily.
• Use mulch around base of developing plants to prevent weeds.
• Compost soil before trying to grow vegetables or flowers that need rich soil.
