Planting:Calendula is best suited for full sun but will grow in anything from full sun to partial shade. Seeds can be direct sown or started indoors depending on the length of growing season. Suitable for landscaping or container growing. Place seeds at 1/4-1/2" deep
Germination: Seeds usually take 5 to 15 days to sprout.
Transplant:When danger of frost is over, transplant to garden as close as 12" apart.
Soil and Light:Calendula will survive brief dry periods. Moist soil is best but plant will survive a little neglect. Seeds can be collected from plant for replanting next season.
