The Balsam flower is a subspecies of impatiens with small beautiful flowers. The Camilla Flowering Mixture has rose-like double flowers on a compact 10-12" plant. The flowers come in pink and rose and thrive in humid weather. Originally from southern Asia, it is a great choice for extra humid climates or warm areas.
Planting:Balsam is a full sun plant with beautiful flowers. A good plant for attracting bees and butterflies making it perfect for the wildflower garden. The Balsam plant will not tolerate frost or cold very well as it is a warm weather plant.
