Bells of Ireland is a unique plant that grows rows of bell shaped leaves. The tiny white flowers bloom inside the leaves making an unusual look. The plant can grow from 2-3' tall and is perfect for use in floral arrangements.
Planting:Bells of Ireland is a full sun plant but does better in moderate climates. The plants are hearty in cooler weather and can be winter sown.
Wikipedia-Bells of IrelandGermination:Pre-chill the seeds for about 5 days before planting for best results. Seeds usually take 7 to 14 days to sprout. Transplant:Best grown from direct sowing, but can be transplanted if desired. Space plants at least 9" apart. Soil and Light:Keep soil evenly moist but not soggy. Bells of Ireland will need plenty of water during hot spells. Plant will self-seed for the next season if flowers left to go to seed.
