The Prestige Scarlet Crested Celosia is a very wide branching and prolific plant. The plant has the usual single bloom at the center of the plant along with smaller blooms that form on the other stalks. The blooms grow to about 3-4" long and are longer lasting than other varieties. Plant grows from 15-20" tall. Prestige Scarlet Celosia is an All-American Selections winner.

Planting:Celosia plants do poorly in cold weather and are best started indoors in colder areas. Seeds should be planted 1/4" deep in slightly moist soil. Plants can be spaced closely in containers or pots for a tight cluster of color.
Germination: Seeds usually take 10 to 15 days to sprout. Warming soil with plastic or other coverings can help germination.
Transplant:When danger of frost is over, transplant to garden as close as 10" apart.
Soil and Light:Keep soil evenly moist but not soggy. Celosia does best in full sunlight.
