Coleus is a foliage plant with leaves that grow in a variety of colors. The Carefree mix is a dwarf variety with plants that grow 8-10" tall. The busy leaves are small, growing to only about an inch long. The stalks do not need to be pinched.

Planting:Space Coleus seeds about 12-18" apart and press lightly. Seeds require light to grow and shouldn't be covered. Coleus makes a good house plant and can propagate from cuttings also.
Germination: Seeds usually take 10 days to sprout. Warming soil with plastic or other coverings can help germination.
Transplant:When danger of frost is over, transplant to garden as close as 12" apart.

![Delivery was quick and the product was in perfect condition.

Gardening Tips
Many factors can affect the germination and growth of your garden or flower seeds. Try some of these suggestions to improve your seeds' chance of success:- Sometimes some seeds should soak in water for 4-6 hours before planting seeds in ground.
- Store seeds in cool dry location to prevent seeds germinating prematurely.
- Water freshly planted seeds or newly transplanted plants heavily.
- Use mulch around base of developing plants to prevent weeds.
- Compost your grasses, leaves etc before trying to grow vegetables or flowers that need rich soil.
