Morris Heading Collard Seeds

The Morris Heading variety of collard grows leaves in a head similar to a cabbage in taste and appearance. The medium green leaves are tender and delicious. The Morris heading is tolerant of heat and cold.
Planting instructions:Plant Morris Heading collard seeds outside one month before last frost, or three months before the first frost of the fall. Seeds may also be started indoors 5-7 weeks early. A well drained/sandy location with fertile soil works best.
Harvesting:Cut away Morris Heading leaves as desired and more leaves will grow, or cut off whole plant at ground to harvest the entire thing. Nutritional Value:A valuable source of Vitamins: A & K.
