Cosmos is a relatively easy flower to grow with decent drought tolerance. Bright Lights is a medium sized cosmos plant, growing up to 3 feet tall. The vivid flowers come in yellow red and orange. Like most cosmos plants the bright lights is attractive to butterflies and birds.

Planting:Cosmos should be planted 9-12" apart in sunny areas. Seeds require light to grow and shouldn't be covered. Cosmos is good for xeriscaping or low water areas. Start seeds inside in colder areas.
Germination: Seeds usually take 5-7 days to sprout. Warming soil with plastic or other coverings can help germination.
Transplant:When danger of frost is over, transplant to garden as close as 12" apart.
Soil and Light:Keep soil evenly moist but not soggy for best growth. Cosmos is a real sun lover. Seeds can be collected from the flowers or plants will self seed if left alone.

![Delivery was quick and the product was in perfect condition.

Gardening Tips
Many factors can affect the germination and growth of your garden or flower seeds. Try some of these suggestions to improve your seeds' chance of success:- Sometimes some seeds should soak in water for 4-6 hours before planting seeds in ground.
- Store seeds in cool dry location to prevent seeds germinating prematurely.
- Water freshly planted seeds or newly transplanted plants heavily.
- Use mulch around base of developing plants to prevent weeds.
- Compost your grasses, leaves etc before trying to grow vegetables or flowers that need rich soil.
