Lacinato Heirloom Kale

Lacinto Kale is an Heirloom variety with 3" wide blue-green leaves. The leaves reach up to 18" long and are quite delicious. The Plant is very frost tolerant and the leaves even become more tender and appetizing after a hard frost. Tastes great when steamed or stir-fried.
Planting instructions:Lacinto Kale does well in well drained soil and should be planted 30 days before the last frost of the spring. Fall crops can be planted 70 days before the first frost of fall. Kale can succeed in both hot and cold weather and can even be left in the garden over the winter.
