Planting instructions:Lacinto Kale does well in well drained soil and should be planted 30 days before the last frost of the spring. Fall crops can be planted 70 days before the first frost of fall. Kale can succeed in both hot and cold weather and can even be left in the garden over the winter.
Care: Keep soil consistently moist. Lacinto Kale plant may require extra water when weather gets dry or hot.
Harvesting:Leaves can be cut one at a time of the plant can be cut off at ground level.
Nutritional Value: An excellent source of vitamins C and A.
Collecting Seed: Pods will dry on plant, pick when dry and break pods to get seed.

Gardening Tips
Many factors can affect the germination and growth of your garden or flower seeds. Try some of these suggestions to improve your seeds' chance of success:- Sometimes some seeds should soak in water for 4-6 hours before planting seeds in ground.
- Store seeds in cool dry location to prevent seeds germinating prematurely.
- Water freshly planted seeds or newly transplanted plants heavily.
- Use mulch around base of developing plants to prevent weeds.
- Compost your grasses, leaves etc before trying to grow vegetables or flowers that need rich soil.
