Orange Flesh Honeydew Seeds

The Orange Flesh Honeydew is a delicious melon with a taste somewhere between the crenshaw and honeydew. The orange flesh sometimes gives it the nickname of 'honeyloupe'. The fruits are 5-6 pounds with small seed cavities.
Planting instructions:Plant Orange Flesh honeydew seeds only after soil has warmed. Placing seeds in cold soil may cause them to rot. Best in fertile soil. Seeds may be started inside a few weeks before last frost for a head start. Keep weeds away with mulch or straw.
Harvesting: Cut honeydew off vine carefully with a knife to prevent damage. Nutritional Value:Good source of vitamin C Collecting Seed: Wait until the vine attached to Orange Flesh honeydew has dried, then remove honeydew and set it aside for 3 weeks.
