Lincoln Pea Seeds

The Lincoln variety of peas is a great producing plant in the hotter summer months. The pods or about 4" long and have 8-10 small peas in each pod. Lincoln peas are great for areas with cold a springtime that forces midsummer growing.
Planting instructions:Plant Lincoln peas very early in the spring in a sunny location as soon as the ground may be cultivated and enriched with organic material. Press soil firmly over the seeds; best when planted in blocks or rows grouped together. For an extended harvest period, plant peas at two week intervals until mid - spring and again in late summer for a fall crop.

Harvesting: Pick when still bright green and seeds have enlarged in the pod. Hold vines to avoid tearing while picking. Nutritional Value:Rich in Minerals, Calcium, Iron & Vitamins: A, B1, B2, C, & Niacin. Collecting Seed: Select dry long healthy Lincoln pea pods and remove seeds when pods have dried completely. Store in a cool, dry area.
