Ancho Grande Hot Pepper Seeds

The Ancho grande is medium hot and is known as a poblano when still green. The peppers gorw 4" long and 2.5" wide. The blunt tipped peppers go from green to red as they ripen. The plant grows up to 3 feet tall and has a continuous harvest.
Planting instructions:Start Ancho Grande seeds indoors 7-8 weeks before last spring frost in a sunny, warm location. Transplant to a sunny, well drained location in the late spring when the cultivated and enriched with organic material ground is warm and all danger of frost is past.

Harvesting:Pick Ancho Grande peppers when they are still green for higher yields or for more flavor leave the peppers on the vine until red. Cut off part of the stem along with the pepper fruit to avoid injuring the plant. Nutritional Value: Good source of Vitamins: B1, B2, C, and D. Collecting Seed: Select very red Ancho Grande peppers and remove seeds. Allow seeds to thoroughly dry on a paper towel or cloth.
