The Big Jim pepper is a very long and slender pepper with large yields. The Mildly hot peppers are usable either when young and green or red and fully ripe. The peppers reach up to 10" long and are great fresh or dried. Entire plant ripens at once.

Planting instructions:Start Big Jim seeds indoors 7-8 weeks before last spring frost in a sunny, warm location. Transplant to a sunny, well drained location in the late spring when the cultivated and enriched with organic material ground is warm and all danger of frost is past.
Care: Water lightly to keep soil moist. Control weeds with cultivation or mulch.
Harvesting:Pick Big Jim peppers when they are still green or for more flavor leave the peppers on the vine until red. Cut off part of the stem along with the pepper fruit to avoid injuring the plant.
Nutritional Value: Good source of Vitamins: B1, B2, C, and D.
Collecting Seed: Select very red Big Jim peppers and remove seeds. Allow seeds to thoroughly dry on a paper towel or cloth.

Gardening Tips
Many factors can affect the germination and growth of your garden or flower seeds. Try some of these suggestions to improve your seeds' chance of success:- Sometimes some seeds should soak in water for 4-6 hours before planting seeds in ground.
- Store seeds in cool dry location to prevent seeds germinating prematurely.
