Big Jim Hot Pepper Seeds

The Big Jim pepper is a very long and slender pepper with large yields. The Mildly hot peppers are usable either when young and green or red and fully ripe. The peppers reach up to 10" long and are great fresh or dried. Entire plant ripens at once.
Planting instructions:Start Big Jim seeds indoors 7-8 weeks before last spring frost in a sunny, warm location. Transplant to a sunny, well drained location in the late spring when the cultivated and enriched with organic material ground is warm and all danger of frost is past.

Harvesting:Pick Big Jim peppers when they are still green or for more flavor leave the peppers on the vine until red. Cut off part of the stem along with the pepper fruit to avoid injuring the plant. Nutritional Value: Good source of Vitamins: B1, B2, C, and D. Collecting Seed: Select very red Big Jim peppers and remove seeds. Allow seeds to thoroughly dry on a paper towel or cloth.
