The Santa Fe Grande hot pepper starts as a yellow pepper which turns to red-orange. The plant grows to about 2 feet tall and bears fruit continuously with great yields. The fruits are about 4" long by 1.5" wide. The Santa Fe Grande plant is resistant to Tobacco Mosaic virus.

Planting instructions:Start Santa Fe Grande seeds indoors 7-8 weeks before last spring frost in a sunny, warm location. Transplant to a sunny, well drained location in the late spring when the cultivated and enriched with organic material ground is warm and all danger of frost is past.
Care: Water lightly to keep soil moist. Control weeds with cultivation or mulch.
Harvesting:Pick Santa Fe Grande Hot peppers when they turn to red-orange. Cut off part of the stem along with the pepper fruit to avoid injuring the plant.
Nutritional Value: Good source of Vitamins: B1, B2, C, and D.
Collecting Seed: Select very mature Santa Fe Grande Hot peppers and remove seeds. Allow seeds to thoroughly dry on a paper towel or cloth.

Gardening Tips
Many factors can affect the germination and growth of your garden or flower seeds. Try some of these suggestions to improve your seeds' chance of success:- Sometimes some seeds should soak in water for 4-6 hours before planting seeds in ground.
- Store seeds in cool dry location to prevent seeds germinating prematurely.
- Water freshly planted seeds or newly transplanted plants heavily.
- Use mulch around base of developing plants to prevent weeds.
