Connecticut Field Pumpkin Seeds

Connecticut field pumpkins usualy grow to around 20lbs. They reach around 12 inches in diameter and have a thick flesh. A great pumpkin for baking pies or carving Jack-o-Lanterns.
Planting instructions:Plant Connecticut Field seeds early in the spring in a sunny, well drained location. Slightly acid soil is good and should be at least 70° F. Place multiple seeds in hills.
Care: Protect Connecticut Field pumpkins for adverse weather such as heavy rain or cold. Keep them well watered, but not over-watered. Harvesting: When multiple pumpkins are growing you may remove small pumpkins to make larger fruits. Cutting pumpkins from the vine with a knife will prevent damage to plant. Nutritional Value: A rich source of Calcium, and Vitamins: C and E, and Niacin. Collecting Seed: Allow Connecticut Field pumpkins to dry for 3 weeks then open them and extract seeds.
