The Bix Max is a enormous pumpkin with fruits that reach up to 100 pounds. The fruits grow to 20" across or larger. The pink-orange rind covers thick yellow orange flesh. Big Max is a great grower for competitions or fairs.
Care: Protect Big Max pumpkins for adverse weather such as heavy rain or cold. Keep them well watered, but not over-watered.
Harvesting: When multiple pumpkins are growing you may remove small pumpkins to make larger fruits. Cutting pumpkins from the vine with a knife will prevent damage to plant.
Nutritional Value: A rich source of Calcium, and Vitamins: C and E, and Niacin.

Gardening Tips
Many factors can affect the germination and growth of your garden or flower seeds. Try some of these suggestions to improve your seeds' chance of success:- Sometimes some seeds should soak in water for 4-6 hours before planting seeds in ground.
- Store seeds in cool dry location to prevent seeds germinating prematurely.
- Water freshly planted seeds or newly transplanted plants heavily.
- Use mulch around base of developing plants to prevent weeds.
- Compost your grasses, leaves etc before trying to grow vegetables or flowers that need rich soil.
