Edamame soybean grows pod clusters of 2-3 beans each. Edamame is a great high protein food and has many culinary uses. The bush type plant doesn't require staking.

Harvesting:Collect Edamame pods while still green but quite thick. Pods will yellow if left too long. Generally soybeans are collected all at once. Collecting Seed: Collect seeds by letting pods dry out on the plant. Open dry pods and take out seeds. Dry Edamame seeds can be stored in a cool dry place.
