Oregon Spring Tomato Seeds

The Oregon Spring tomato is a compact plant with determinate vines and early setting fruits. The fruits set in cool weather and average about 4" across. The early plant is resistant to Verticillium Wilt.
Planting instructions:Start Oregon Spring tomato seeds indoors 5-8 weeks before last spring frost in a sunny, warm location in pots or flats. Transplant to a sunny, well drained location in the late spring when the cultivated and enriched with organic material ground is warm and all danger of frost is past. The transplanted plants should be about 5-12 inches tall. Tomatoes can be sown directly into the garden when the soil and weather is warm. Double hill planting ( 6 inches apart) and staking Oregon Spring tomatoes upright or use a wire cage to increase production.

Harvesting: Pick Oregon Spring tomatoes when fruits turn red. In late fall before any frost, green tomatoes can be picked and ripened in a warm area. Nutritional Value: An excellent source of Vitamins: A, & C and contains B, calcium. Iron, and potassium. Collecting Seed: Select a red, very mature Oregon Spring tomato and remove seeds.
