Cherokee Purple Heirloom Tomato Seeds

The Cherokee Purple tomato is an heirloom variety of tomato with large dark pink fruits. The 12-16 oz tomatoes change to purple at the shoulders and have a unique taste with a slight sweet aftertaste. Heirloom tomatoes are prized for their heartiness and amazing flavor. The Cherokee Purple is perfect for for slicing and sandwiches.
Planting instructions:Start Cherokee Purple tomato seeds indoors 5-8 weeks before last spring frost in a sunny, warm location in pots or flats. Transplant to a sunny, well drained location in the late spring when the cultivated and enriched with organic material ground is warm and all danger of frost is past. The transplanted plants should be about 5-12 inches tall. Tomatoes can be sown directly into the garden when the soil and weather is warm. Double hill planting ( 6 inches apart) and staking Cherokee Purple tomatoes upright or use a wire cage to increase production.
