Planting instructions:Start Grande Rio Verde tomatillo seeds indoors 6-8 weeks before last spring frost in a sunny, warm location in pots or flats. Transplant to a sunny, well drained location in the late spring when the ground, cultivated and enriched with organic material, is warm and all danger of frost is past. Plant several plants together for better pollination, staking plants upright or using a wire cage increases production.
Care:Water Grande Rio Verde tomatillos lightly to keep soil moist. Control weeds with cultivation or mulch.
Harvesting: Pick when husk on fruit begins to split.
Nutritional Value: A good source of Vitamin C.
Collecting Seed: Select a mature Grande Rio Verde tomatillo and remove seeds. Allow seeds to thoroughly dry on a paper towel or cloth.

Gardening Tips
Many factors can affect the germination and growth of your garden or flower seeds. Try some of these suggestions to improve your seeds' chance of success:- Sometimes some seeds should soak in water for 4-6 hours before planting seeds in ground.
