Planting instructions:Start seeds indoors 7-8 weeks before last spring frost in a sunny, warm location. Transplant to a sunny, well drained location in the late spring when the cultivated and enriched with organic material ground is warm and all danger of frost is past.
Care: Water lightly to keep soil moist. Control weeds with cultivation or mulch.
Harvesting:Pick Jalapenos frequently for higher yields, or for more flavor, leave the peppers on the vine longer. Cut off part of the stem along with the pepper fruit to avoid injuring the plant.
Nutritional Value: Good source of Vitamins A and C.
Collecting Seed: Select very mature peppers and remove seeds. Allow seeds to thoroughly dry on a paper towel or cloth.
