Planting instructions:Kale does well in well drained soil and should be planted 30 days before the last frost of the spring. Fall crops can be planted 70 days before the first frost of fall. Kale can succeed in both hot and cold weather and can even be left in the garden over the winter.
Care: Keep soil consistently moist.
Harvesting:Leaves can be cut one at a time of the plant can be cut off at ground level.
Nutritional Value: An excellent source of vitamins C and A.
Collecting Seed: Pods will dry on plant, pick when dry and break pods to get seed.
