Rhubarb Swiss Chard Seeds

The Rhubarb Swiss Chard has dark red stalks and deep green leaves. The leaves are large and crumpled and the plant is robust and easy growing. The leaves and stalks can be harvested continually as the plant grows.
Planting instructions:Plant Rhubarb chard very early in the spring in a sunny location as soon as the ground may be cultivated and enriched with organic material. Press soil firmly over seeds. Rhubarb Chard grows well in containers.

Harvesting: Cut leaves (plant top) off about 3-5" above the base when chard has grown. Rhubarb plant will regrow leaves for repeat harvests. Nutritional Value: A good source of Calcium, Iron & Vitamins: A, B1, B2, C, & Niacin. Collecting Seed: Biennial plant that produce a seed stalk the second year. When seeds have matured and dried on the seed stalk, separate chaff with your fingers, then collect and dry seed. Store Rhubarb chard seeds in a cool, dry area.
