Planting instructions:Plant Rhubarb chard very early in the spring in a sunny location as soon as the ground may be cultivated and enriched with organic material. Press soil firmly over seeds. Rhubarb Chard grows well in containers.
Care: Keep Rhubarb chard free of weeds and water regularly to keep soil moist.
Harvesting: Cut leaves (plant top) off about 3-5" above the base when chard has grown. Rhubarb plant will regrow leaves for repeat harvests.
Nutritional Value: A good source of Calcium, Iron & Vitamins: A, B1, B2, C, & Niacin.
Collecting Seed: Biennial plant that produce a seed stalk the second year. When seeds have matured and dried on the seed stalk, separate chaff with your fingers, then collect and dry seed. Store Rhubarb chard seeds in a cool, dry area.

Gardening Tips
Many factors can affect the germination and growth of your garden or flower seeds. Try some of these suggestions to improve your seeds' chance of success:- Sometimes some seeds should soak in water for 4-6 hours before planting seeds in ground.
- Store seeds in cool dry location to prevent seeds germinating prematurely.
- Water freshly planted seeds or newly transplanted plants heavily.
- Use mulch around base of developing plants to prevent weeds.
